Metaphor/The Poster

• The Poster is a beautiful Sign
• The Poster is an ugly Eraser
• The Poster is a tired Mechanical Pencil
• The Poster is a mean Book
• The Poster is a loud Television
• The Poster is a quiet Post-A-Note
• The Poster is a fragrant Highlighter
• The Poster is an odorous Backpack
• The Poster is a soft Coat
• The Poster is a hard Desk
• The Poster is a cold Chair

Self Portrait/Me

• My hair is like a soft jacket blowing against the
  wind
• My eyes are like rain drops falling from the
  beautiful sky
• My fingers are like chettos cracking in a bag all
  standing up in the air
• My fingernails are like pieces of paper getting
  cut by scissors
• My heart holds love that is as hot as a fireball
• I live in a crayon box
• And eat paper and art work

• Long thick furry tail
• Looking for some young small prey
• Snap! Did he get you

• So the people can laugh and play

• There once was a ball from the mall
• The while he hopped to the ball
• So he lends a friend
• And danced the big bend
• That little ball from that huge mall

• I saw you throw the fish in snow
• And mow the bugs around the snow
• And I herd you pass through and out
• Like buggies wings against the snow
• The snow you greet me day and night
• The snow everyone can all love

Color/Rainbow

• Red is strawberries, cherries, and fire
• Blue is the taste of blueberries
• Yellow smells like bananas and lemons
• Pink makes me feel happy
• Green is the sound of grass and trees
• Black is evil, mean, and madness
• Purple is sad
• Gray is old
• Brown hides in grass

Alliteration/Time Flies

• Time flies when you are having fun.
• When you fix your ties like lies.
• You can be early to school and play fun.
• Those things happen when time flies like lies.

If I Were In Charge Of The World/Lexie

• If I were in charge of the world, Id cancel
  meanness and also cats
• If I were in charge of the world, thered be more
  dogs, cheesecake, and more clothes
• If I were in charge of the world, you wouldnt
  have homework and no shelter You wouldnt have
  death, dirtiness, and you certainly wouldnt have
  money limits If I were in charge of the world, a
  puppy would be free for me, and a person who
  sometimes forgot to clean her room and sometimes
  forgot to take care of her puppy would still be
  allowed to be in charge of the world.
