KEYBOARDING is the first part of this course
You must have a GWAM of 25 to pass the
Keyboarding Section of this class.
You must work in Microtype every free minute you
have between assignments. It is your
responsibility to finish the assigned work.
You will have several timed writing quizzes. You
will practice them for four days and then take a
test the final day. During timed writings, there
will be NO TALKING OR INTERRUPTIONS

  • If you need to use the restroom or get water,
    please ask at this time. Do not ask after the
    tardy bell rings
  • Begin warm-up on board
  • Raise your hand if you have a question

  • Work from bell to bell. Do not turn your computer
    off and stop working until you have one minute
    before the bell rings
  • Teacher dismisses class.
  • Click on Start and restart to log off of your
    computer
  • Place your books on the book stand beside your
    computer. Clean up your area.

Take Care of this Lab
  • No Liquids in the lab
  • Headphones placed on top of computer
  • No storage devices unless checked by me
  • Books are placed on book holders beside computer.
  • Clean up paper/trash around your desk
  • Do not print unless authorized to do so.

TARDY PROCEDURE
  • Tardy sign in sheet
  • Tardy register
  • First tardy - Conference with teacher, and parent
    contact
  • Second tardy - Conference with teacher and lunch
    detention.
  • Third tardy and all thereafter .Conference with
    teacher, Parent contact, Referral to Principal
    for Saturday school.

LAST BUT NOT LEAST
  • Classroom interruptions will not be tolerated. Be
    respectful of your teacher and your class mates.
  • Parent contact will be made during class if you
    have been warned and you continue the disruption.
    If parent cant be contacted and your behavior
    continues, you will be sent out of the class with
    the hall principal.
