• I dedicate this book to my mom and dad, and my
  teacher.

• Koalas are cool Australian animals, because
  they have this kind of soft and fluffy hair.
  Their fur is gray, brown, and white. Their fur is
  very thick.

• The weight of these animals is only15 to 30
  pounds or 7 to 14 kilograms. Koalas measures from
  15 to 25 inches, which is about 64 to 76
  centimeters.

• They have the sharp toes and curved claws so
  they can have a strong grip to trees. Koalas
  spend all of their good time in trees. Koalas are
  active mainly at night. These koalas eat
  eucalyptus leaves.

• Koalas are marsupials. A young koala is called
  a joey. At first, the babies are tiny and poorly
  developed. The baby remains in a pouch for six
  mouths.

• I have never seen a koala bear. I would love
  to see one. Maybe one day I can travel to
  Australia to see one in its own habitat.
