Definitions (1)

• Amalgam an alloy of mercury and one or more
  other metals
• Dental amalgam is produced by mixing liquid
  mercury with solid particles of an alloy of
  silver, tin, copper, and sometimes zinc,
  palladium, indium and selenium.
