What is a BIOME?

• A biome is a distinct ecological community of
  plants and animals living in a particular climate.

• The Artic Tundra is one of the five biomes of the
  world.
• The Artic Tundra is also the coldest of all five
  biomes.

Where is the Artic Tundra Located?

• The artic tundra is classified as the areas
  across northern Alaska, Canada, and Siberia.

What is the climate in the Artic?

• The artic tundra is an area with cold long
  winters with short and fairly cool summers.
• The artic area also only receives less than 10
  inches of participation a year which is the same
  amount of perception which is found in the desert.
