First, let us access The Format option.

• Click Format.
• Choose Slide Layout
• Within Slide Layout you have a plethora of
  slide options.

The Different Layouts

• TEXT LAYOUTS are best suited for straight TEXT
• CONTENT LAYOUTS are best suited for displays of
  PICTURES, CLIPART, MEDIA CLIPS, CHARTS, or TABLES

More about The Layouts

• TEXT and CONTENT LAYOUTS are best suited for a
  combination of the two.
• OTHER LAYOUTS are geared towards the older
  versions of PowerPoint yet they offer another
  avenue for adding media files or other
  professional designs.

Please perform the following..

• Pull up a Title Slide
• In the 1st Click to Add Title type in the
  following statement Valentines Day is
  overrated and sacrifices too many flowers.
• Highlight the Sentence. Change the Font to
  Elephant. Change the Font size to 44

Also..

• In the 2nd Click to Add Title type in todays
  Date (2/14/05).
• Highlight the Sentence. Change the Font to
  Forte. Change the Font size to 80

The result should look like this

Please do the following.

• Pull up a Title, Text, and 2 Content Slide.
• Give it the Title NFL Highlights 2004.
• Increase the size of the textbook by pulling on
  the white dots.

• Adjust the Font Size to 60.
• In the side Text Box type in the following
  McNabb was a great Fantasy QB for Mr. Gibbs.
  McGahee was stellar in helping Gibbs get to The
  Playoffs.
• Change their Font to Gill Sans Ultra Bold.

Go to www.google.com/images.

• Type in Donovan McNabb. Click ENTER.
• Over any of the pictures, Click on it.
• Right Click and Copy the Image.
• Outside of the Picture Box of your slide Right
  Click again. Paste The Image. Adjust the Picture
  as you see fit.
• Go back to Google Images.
• Type in Willis McGahee. Click ENTER.
• Follow the same procedure as above.

• Pull up Title and Diagram or Organizational
  Chart.
• Give it the title Engineering Branch NOAA
• Increase the Font Size to 54. Change the Font
  to Franklin Gothic Demi.
• Go to www.google.com/images

Type in Organizational Charts

• Choose the image that resembles the title of the
  slide you are creating.
• Copy image, p aste it, adjust the size into
  your slide.
• You could have also created your own chart and
  pasted just as easily as the one from Google.
