  • Grandparents emigrated to Guelph from Scotland.
  • He had a brother and a sister.
  • Born Nov. 30, 1872.

  • He is the second son of Lieutenant-Colonel David
    McCrae.
  • David and Janet married in the 1870s.

  • He wrote poems, books, articles, and text books.
  • He also made sketches from 1896 to the 1900s.

    Public School.
  • After going to Guelph Central Public School he
    went to Guelphs College Institute.
