• 1960 - Informally begun at APS-SPR meeting by
  Charles Janeway
• 1961- Met at Brookhaven National Laboratories on
  Long Island as The Conference of Chairmen of
  Pediatrics in American and Canadian Medical
  Schools
• 1962-63 - Traymore in Atlantic City and Palmer
  House in Chicago
• 1964 - Association of Medical School Department
  Chairmen at Arden House, NY

• 1967- AMSPDC, Inc.
• 1970s - Two snowstorms sent AMSPDC to southern
  locations for annual March meetings
