Downsides of P2P Attack

• Information is taken from the company
• Bandwidth is overused if not set up properly
• Slower network speed costs companies money in
  salaries and in sales from customers.

DDoS Attacks

• All of the following criteria are needed for an
  attack to succeed
• Sufficient attack resources
• Generation of suitable attack traffic from the
  compromised host(s)
• Targeting of the attack at the intended victim
• Robustness of the attack scheme to
  countermeasures
• This is fairly new and no definite ways to
  prevent intrusion at this time.
