- IDEA Stimulus Grant 390 Million
- IDEA Stimulus allocations must be used
consistently with the current IDEA, Part B
statutory and regulatory requirements - LEAs may reduce the level of expenditures for
education of children with disabilities made by
the LEA from state and local funds by up to 50
of the amount of IDEA stimulus funds, as long as
the LEA uses freed-up local funds for ESEA
authorized activities - Supplement and supplant requirements remain

11State Fiscal Stabilization Fund (SFSF)
- Total SFSF Grant 1.559 billion
- States must use their allocations to first
restore support for elementary, secondary and
higher education - Awarded to states based upon the assurance that
it will - (1) increase teacher effectiveness and address
inequities in the distribution of highly
qualified teachers - (2) establish and use a PK-college and career
data system to foster continuous improvement - (3) make progress towards rigorous college and
career standards and high quality assessments
and - (4) provide targeted, intensive support and
interventions to turn around low achieving
schools
