Participation
  • Will not receive Conditional Releases (DD-368) if
    not participating
  • Participation Standards (Chapter 4.A of RPM)
  • Annual Training Requirement is 12 days of Active
    Duty each FISCAL Year.
  • 12 days of AD each FY can be ADT-AT, ADSW, etc.
    Duty must be rating, specialty or position
    related.
  • Compliance measures for Non Participation
    (Chapter 4.B of RPM)
  • Commands shall monitor member participation and
    evaluate performance of prescribed training
    requirements to determine compliance IAW Chapter
    4.A of the RPM

Reserve Incapacitation System
  • Policy found in Chapters 6.A and 6.B of the RPM
  • Notice of Eligibility (NOE)
  • Immediate Command notification of injury or
    illness
  • Seek emergency treatment (if required)
  • Line of Duty Determination (iaw Administrative
    Investigations Manual)
  • Request NOE w/in 3 working days of initial
    medical evaluation
  • Entitles member to care at MTF may authorize
    travel related to care
  • Incapacitation Pay may be auth if mbr
    demonstrates a loss of earned income as a result
    of the injury or illness
  • Physical Disability Evaluation System (PDES)

Retirements
  • How do I request my retirement?
  • Members who are retirement eligible and have
    reached age 60 may request RET-1, retired with
    pay. Members who are retirement eligible but
    have not reached their 60th birthday may request
    RET-2, retired awaiting age 60.
  • Complete form PSC-2055a
  • Ensure all items are complete and accurate
    otherwise, will be returned to the Servicing SPO
  • Note Your request will not be effective for
    three months from the date the request begins
    processing. This means that if you put your
    request in on 12 July, your retirement will not
    be effective until at least 1 November.

Reserve Retirement Points
  • A Good Year toward retirement requires at least
    50 points per ANNIVERSARY Year
  • Maximum 130 Inactive Duty points (IDT
    Correspondence Membership) per Anniversary Year
    (post FY08 NDAA)
  • Participation Requirements are based on FISCAL
    Year
  • Point Statements are issued by PSC Topeka
  • Member reports discrepancies to their Servicing
    Personnel Office
  • Must provide supporting documentation
  • Statements are used to verify Retirement, Good
    Conduct and Armed Forces Reserve Medal (AFRM)
    eligibility

  • Timely travel claim submission (prefer doing

    duty)
