• Commander, USJFCOM Annually collect CoComs
  JMETs for allocated and apportioned forces and
  develop a master JMETL. Direct training of
  assigned forces to this master JMETL
• Commanders, Combatant Commands Establish and
  conduct joint training. Direct training of
  assigned forces. Provide JMETLs and joint
  training requirements for their staffs, and
  allocated and assigned forces
• All personnel and components shall train on
  their Mission Essential Tasks (METs) to
  established standards. . .across all phases of
  Joint Campaigns and throughout the spectrum of
  service, joint, interagency, intergovernmental,
  and multinational operations

• Conducted four pre-Initial Operational Capability
  (IOC) for JNTC events
• Increased number of persistent JNTC sites from 0
  to 18
• DoD leadership to declare IOC on October 1, 2004
• Defense-wide T2 Leadership and Partnership
• Training Capabilities Analysis of Alternatives
• Established T2 Interagency, Intergovernmental,
  and Multinational Mission Essential Tasks (TIM2)
  Task Force and its five working groups.

T2 Future There will be no moment at which the
Department will be 'transformed.

• T2 is about fostering a born joint force
• Work is underway to develop a T2 Strategic
  Communication Campaign Plan
• The three T2 capabilities continue to progress
  but all have only taken the first step in a 1000
  mile journey
• In the year to come, we will continue to
  shape/evolve T2 and to discuss the way ahead with
  its primary stakeholders
