Summary of Provider Survey Results

• A significant proportion of providers (80) were
  not familiar with NAAT, and only 2 had used it
• Provider-perceived barriers to STD screening and
  prevention activities for adolescents/young
  adults centered around confidentiality issues and
  discomfort about taking a sexual history
• Providers were uncertain about health plan
  coverage for routine Chlamydia screening and use
  of NAAT
