    collects details regarding the applicant's
    credentials, education, and criminal background.
    The company also gathers other details such as
    drug abuse and sexual harassment history records
    to make sure that the candidate doesn't create
    any problems later on.
  • However, this type of screening doesn't provide
    the company an insight into the technical and
    general knowledge that the candidate possesses. A
    different type of screening test will be required
    to check if the candidate will be well suited for
    the position.
