Art Center

• When Julius died in 1931, he left a trust.
• When the trust reached 1,000,000 in value, it
  was to be given to the city of Auburn for the
  purpose of building and endowing an art center.
• 1975 The Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center became
  incorporated.
• 1981 The Schweinfurth Memorial Art Center
  opened to the public.
