Coding Manuals

• Medical Billing and Coding is a 120 hour program
  designed to provide you with the essential skills
  required for an entry-level position in medical
  coding and/or medical billing.
• You will learn the principles of medical coding
  related to the three main coding manuals CPT,
  ICD-9-CM and HCPCS Level II.

Medical Billing Practices

• You will familiarize yourself with common medical
  billing practices, the health insurance industry,
  legal and regulatory issues and differences in
  reimbursement methodologies.
• This program prepares you for national licensure
  examinations.

Anatomy Medical Terminology

• Anatomy Medical Terminology (40 Hours) is a
  prerequisite of the Medical Coding Billing
  course.
• This course provides a solid foundation in
  anatomy terminology.
• This portion of the program was created in
  conjunction with the Coding Billing curriculum.

• Course Requirements

Course Length Hours

• The Anatomy course consists of 40 hours of
  in-class instruction.
• Days/Times Per Week 4 classes of 2.5 hours per
  week (10 hours weekly)

Certificate of Completion

• To receive a certificate of completion, you must
  achieve a passing score of 70 or higher and
  complete all modules.
• No reduced hours in the course or tuition
  discount for previous education or training will
  be granted.
