- Hardware all of the physical parts of the
computer, such as the keyboard, screen, and
printer. - Hardware can be internal or external.
- Input device any piece of equipment that is
used to input data into the computer. - The main processing device for a computer is the
central processing unit (CPU).

media used to store data. - Communications devices, such as modems and
