• Revise the database structure.
• Adapt the current model to the new database
• Email client
• Wrapper login
• Some new functionalities for users

Database DPL Hui

• DPL (Database Persistence Layer) is developed by
  Hui.
• Security.
• Efficient ( gt50 reduction in coding ).
• A simple to use interface for the developers
  (no need for writing SQL statements).
• Minimize the headache to maintain the code if the
  database is relocated to a different location.

Adapting our new DB (refactor)

Email Client Sunny

• MTSEmailClient is created to simplify email
  sending procedure for MTS.
• Only utilize one email client to minimize
  resource competition.

Login Wrapper - SSO Sunny

• All applications are within the same servlet
  container.
• Utilize SSO (Single Sign-On) features.
• SSO successful security identity of a user
  authentication to one web application is then
  passed to other web application in the same
  security domain.

• Tutor can now review the appointments history.

• Group Tutoring session.

• GUI improvement (more user friendly).

• Active dates for tutors and students to use the

• Most of the job tasks are on time.
• Some of the future features are nearly finished.
• Timeline has been adjusted as we have the access
  to the testing platform ahead of time.
• New timeline and schedule will be confirmed in
  the coming two weeks.

Overall

• The project is in a good shape.
• Main objective for this spring is to provide a
  functional application for Academic Support at
  UMass Boston.
• Database model revision has been done and no
  further major revision will be done.
