• Media and personal experience raised my awareness
  of cutbacks in public school art music
• My church actively seeks Community Outreach
  programming
• Early school dismissal one day a week provided
  opportunity

• Provide a quality after school program

• Many kids lack basic art skills

  afternoon a week
• Included story time with librarian

• Sought a way to combine art and story time with
  kids choir practice on a weekday
