• Malawi is a land-locked nation on the content of

  than half (5.6 million) are under the age of 14.
  
  
• Because of the HIV/AIDS pandemic and famine there
  are a half million orphans.

  flooding by providing food, shelter and tools for
  clean-up.

  HIV/AIDS work. Counseling, health services and
  seminars on prevention and protection are offered
  throughout the country.
• The Salvation Army is providing famine relief
  through the provision of food and replanting kits.
