  • When a student is absent, class work and homework
    that is assigned is placed in the folder for your
    period in the file holder beside the map of the
    world.

  • Do not say Mrs. Joyce didnt give me the work.
    That is not acceptable. You are totally
    responsible for getting and completing make-up
    work.
  • I need one responsible person for each class
    period who will make sure these folders are kept
    up to date for students who are absent.
  • You are responsible for checking that folder to
    get your assignments.

Absences and Make-up Tests
  • Make-up tests are NOT given during class time.
  • Tests must be made up before school or during
    lunch.
  • It is to your advantage to take the test as soon
    as possible when you return to school
  • Tests are assigned several days in advance. If
    you are absent the day before the test and you
    know the test is being given the next day, please
    plan on taking the test when you return to class.

    what is going on in class is posted on
    schoolnotes.com. When you are absent, make sure
    to check this site. Some worksheets will be
    posted to the web so you can print them out and
    complete them before you come back to school.
  • Any assignments not made up within the prescribed
    time period will be recorded as a 0.
  • Extra-credit is also posted on the schoolnotes
    website.
