• Addition Bringing two or more number together to
  make a new one.
• Axes horizontal and vertical lines in a graph

• Base The number being multiplied by the
  exponent.

• Coefficient The number used to multiply a
  variable.
• Constant A number that stands by itself.
• Coordinate plane the graph where lines and
  points are plotted using coordinates

• Dependent variable the y- values of a
  coordinate the second number (2, 9) 
• Division It is splitting a certain amount into
  equal parts or groups, each having the same
  amount.
• Domain the input (x) values of a function

• Exponents The number that says how many times to
  use the number in a multiplication.
• Expression A group of terms, they are usually
  separated by an operator.

• Function It is a problem that has an input and
  an output they are somehow related to each
  other.

• Independent variable the x-values of a
  coordinate the first number (2, 9)

  to get a product
