ATTENDANCE POLICY
  • As stated in the CCCC Student Handbook, "Regular
classroom attendance . . . is expected of all
students" (26). Therefore if you accumulate
three absences, you should consult with me (your
professor) to avoid a grade penalty. After 3
absences, your grade will be penalized for each
absence. After 6 absences, you should initiate
drop proceedings unless you receive a special
dispensation from me. If you are absent for any
reason, you should contact me or a classmate to
find out the assignment for the next class. You
will be held responsible for work due the class
time following an absence. Exceptions to this
    policy require a student/professor agreement.
