  • James, a an orphaned young boy, had to live with
    his mean aunts.
  • One day a strange man appeared and gave James
magic crystals. A giant peach grew when James
dropped some magic crystals on the ground.
Jamess mean aunts were squashed by the giant
    peach which rolled over them.
  • James decides to live inside the peach and is
joined by insect friends on an unforgettable
    journey.
  • I rate this book 5 stars because it is full of
adventure. I like the way the insects help James.

  • Matilda is a girl who loves to read. Her problem
is that her family doesnt like to read. They
love TV and tend to ignore her while they watch
it. Matilda begs her parents to let her attend
school. Her father agrees to send her to school
because he makes a deal with the very mean Head
Mistress. Matilda loves school, her classmates
