What is HFCS?

• Made from corn starch
• Thick liquid
• Easy to blend in beverages
• Equal parts fructose and glucose
• Sucrose, most familiar to consumers as table
  sugar, is a larger sugar molecule that breaks
  down into glucose and fructose in the intestine
  during metabolism
• Tastes sweeter than refined sugar
• Use less save

• Acts more like fat than sugar
• Does not have the normal hunger suppressing
  response as other foods
• May increase livers production of triglyceride
  building block
• May increase LDL and BP
