• Greek Mythology is collection of traditional
  stories which reflect the culture and beliefs of
  Ancient Greece.
• These stories were originally told orally and
  were by unknown authors.
• When stories are told orally there are often
  changes over time and this results in differences
  in stories, depending on the source.

• Ancient Greeks believed there was a large family
  of gods and goddesses.
• Zeus was king of the gods and Hades was king of
  the Underworld.
• Ancient Romans used Greek mythology of into their
  own and many of the Greek gods have matching
  Roman gods.
• Some stories, you will sometimes find the names
  of the Greek and Roman characters mixed up
