HIGHEST POLICY MAKING BODY OF ITU.
- HELD EVERY FOUR YEARS,THE CONFERENCE SETS THE
UNIONS GENERAL POLICIES, ADOPTS FIVE YEAR
STRATEGIC AND FINANCIAL PLANS AND ELECTS THE
SENIOR MANAGEMENT TEAM, THE COUNCIL AND THE RADIO
RELGULATION BOARD. - SECTOR MEMBERS CAN ALSO ATTEND THE CONFERENCE AS
OBSERVERS.

- APT HELD 3 PREPARATORY MEETINGS FOR PP-02
BANGKOK (June, 2001), SYDNEY (October, 2001),
TEHRAN (May,2002).
- CORRESPONDENCE GROUPS WERE ESTABLISHED ON
