WHERE IT LIVES

• Jaguars live in Mexico and central and south
  Africa.However until the early 1900s they also
  roomed in Arizona,southern California, New
  Mexico,and Texas.Black Jaguars live in south
  America.

Foods It Eats

• Jaguars eat mostly any kind of animal, including
  deer, fish, wild pigs, tapirs, turtles, and
  capybaras and other rodents. Jaguars hunt mainly
  on the ground and at night.

• The Jaguar is the largest, most powerful wildcat
  of the western hemisphere.

Its Home

• Jaguar live in forests, shrubby areas, and
  grasslands wherever they can safely hide. They
  move from place to place for food.

Life Cycle

• The male and female jaguars live together only
  during the mating season. After a pregnancy
  period of 95 to 110 days, the female gives birth
  to two, three, or four young. The young go on
  their own when theyre adult size.

Enemies

• The only enemy for a jaguar are hunters.

Why is it endangered

• The jaguar is endangered because hunters go out
  and hunt them down for there meat.The jaguar is
  also endangered because of environmental changes.

How can we protect them

• We can protect them by taking away peoples
  license to shoot jaguars. Keep them in areas
  where they are protected from hunters.
