3When Is Frost Valley?
- Arrive at BCA 730 am, Wed., Sept. 9
- Take the bus to school or have your parent drop
you off in front of the Auditorium
4What Do I Do When I Arrive At School That Day?
- Pick up your luggage tags at one of the tables in
front of the Auditorium - Your tags will have your cabin name printed on
the front side - Write your name on the back side of the luggage
tag - Tie a luggage tag to each bag
- Take your bags to the luggage pile designated for
your cabin
5Where Do I Go Next?
- Go into the AUDITORIUM and sit down
- Wait for your Bus Number to be called
- Do NOT go to IGS
- Attendance will be taken on the bus
6How Long Does It Take To Get There?
- Two-hour bus ride
- No carry-on luggage
- Luggage will be taken directly to your cabin for
you - You wont see your luggage until dinner time
- Wear old clothes suitable for a Hike
- No time to change clothes
7What Happens If I Carry My Luggage on the Bus?
- Youll get tired carrying it on the hike!!!
8What Happens When We Get There?
- Go to the Dining Hall
- Another school will be in the Dining Hall, too
- You will be instructed to sit at temporary tables
for your first meal - The other school will leave after lunch and BCA
will be the only school at Frost Valley while we
are there
9What Kind of Food Do We Get?
- Wholesome varieties at each meal
- Plus
- Cereal Bar (breakfast)
- Salad Bar (lunch dinner)
- Fresh fruit out all day

- Report all food restrictions before Wednesday to

- Follow the schedule given to you by your IGS
teacher on Monday - Cabin and room number
- Bus Number
- Day and night group activities
- Table number for meals
- Follow instructions given to you by your Frost

- Clean and neat
- Bring sleeping bag or sheets, blanket, pillow
- Indoor plumbing
- Bring towels, no amenities provided
- Toilet paper provided by Frost Valley
- Cabins should look the same when you leave as
they did when you arrived
15Are There Lights in the Cabins?
- All cabins have electricity
- No lights outside the cabins
- Gets very dark at night
- Bring a flashlight

- Have lots of fun!!!
- Develop comradery within your academy
- Build friendship with students outside your
academy - Behave
- Be on your best behavior at all times since this
is your first field trip with BCA - We will monitor your behavior closely
- If you misbehave, you may lose your privilege to
attend future trips!

26What Should I Do If I Need to Take Medications?
- Bring all medications with you to the Auditorium
when you arrive at school on Wednesday - Meds will be collected at school and given to the
Frost Valley Nurse - Frost Valley Nurse will dispense all medications
27What Should I Do If I Need to Take Medications?
- Prescribed non-emergency medications NOT
PERMITTED in your possession (including Tylenol
and other over the counter medications) - Parents and doctor must sign Medication
Permission Request form - Emergency medications, such as inhalers and
EpiPens ARE PERMITTED - Parents and doctor must sign Self-Medication
