Aortic dissection bundle

• Does your family have a history of aortic
  dissection?
• Do you or does your family have a history of
  Marfan syndrome?
• Does the patient have physical findings that
  suggest that Marfan syndrome is present?

• If the answer to any of these questions is
  yesAortic dissection may be the cause of the
  patients chest pain and the diagnosis should be
  excluded by emergent CT angiography,
  transesophageal echocardiography, or MRI
  angiography.
