How to Start Publisher Step 1

• Click the Start button
• Click Programs
• Click Microsoft Publisher

Publisher Catalog

• You choose what type of document you want to
  create here
• Click Flyer on the right side
• Pick the Design you like from the right side
• Then click Start Wizard

Introduction to the Wizard

• On the left side of your screen you will see this
• This tells you a little about the wizard that
  helps you to design you flyer
• Just click Next

Color Scheme

• Now you choose what Color Scheme you would like
  to use
• Try many of them until you find the one you like.
• Click Next

Placeholder for Picture

• This is just asking if you want to have a place
  for your picture automatically created
• Yes is selected by default
• Just click Next

Elements

• Here you can add extra features to your flyer
• Leave it set to None
• Click Next

Customer Address

• This allows you to have your address and contact
  information placed by default into your flyer
• Just Click Finish

Manually Edit

• Time to edit your flyer
• You can click on any of the text and just type
• Remember this is just like PowerPoint you can
  click and drag stuff around
• If you want to change something you did in with
  the Wizard, you can!
• The Wizard is to the left of the screen

Explore Create

• Take time to explore all the menus of Publisher
• Try different fonts
• Change Clip Art
• You do it the same way as you did in PowerPoint
