-- Double Period Algebra 1 is intended for
those students who need more time to learn the
material. Those students who make no effort or
are behavior problems should be recommended for
Single Period. -- A D in Algebra 1 technically
passes the course however, it does not
sufficiently prepare them for the increased rigor
of Geometry and higher math. Therefore, it is
strongly recommended that those students repeat
Algebra 1
