• Funding in 2002-2004
• Brillouin spectrometer built and operating at
  UIUC
• Final phase of funding received in 2004
• Finalize design, obtain remaining major equipment
  this year
• Begin installation at Sector 13 of APS in
  September 2004. First proposals for beamtime to
  commission and use equipment being submited now.
