Special Quadrilaterals

• Special quadrilaterals are quadrilaterals that
  have certain properties.
• Examples of special quadrilaterals are found in
  trapezoids, parallelograms, rhombi, rectangles,
  and squares.

Properties of Parallelograms

• Opposite sides of parallelograms are parallel.
• Opposite sides are congruent.
• Diagonals of a parallelogram bisect each other.
• Consecutive angles are supplementary.

• A rhombus is a parallelogram.
• The diagonals of a rhombus are perpendicular and
  bisect the angles.
