The Past Biographical Details

• I was born on August 10, 1981 in Vancouver,
  British Columbia.
• I am the fourth child in a family of six
  children.

Disneyland

• I spent most my childhood in Vancouver with the
  occasional family vacation.
• In the summer of 1994, we got to go to
  Disneyland! (Dont you love the fanny pack?)

• Templeton Secondary School
• Received the Science 9, Science 10 and the Foods
  and Nutrition 10 awards.
• Graduated in June 1999.

Dominican Republic

• Before going on my first Arts Co-op work term in
  May 2001, I went on a one week all-inclusive
  vacation to the Dominican Republic.
• It was awesome!

Dr. Sun Yat Sen Classical Chinese Garden

• After my vacation in the Dominican Republic, I
  had to get down to work as a tourism assistant at
  the Dr. Sun Yat Sen Classical Chinese Garden.
• The garden is so serene and beautiful working
  there was like another vacation!

Windsurfing

• Three summers ago, I joined the UBC Sailing
  Club.
• I completed the White Sail I/II and the
  windsurfing lessons.
• So, for the past three summers, Ive been a
  total beach bum!

University

• I entered the University of British Columbia in
  September 1999.
• Completed a Bachelors of Arts in May 2004.
• I did a double major in English and History.

• Im really excited to have been accepted into
  the MLIS program at SLAIS.
• Hopefully, Ill still get to be a beach bum in
  the summers while completing my studies.

The Future Hmmm

• I hope to finish my MLIS and work as a librarian
  in a public library.
• Im one of the ones who actually wants to work
  with the great unwashed public!
• I also would like to travel around the world,
  especially to Europe!
