Metro Police ARMOR Team on 28-29 Feb 08 in
response to a suspected identification of Ricin.

- 14 Feb 08 individual called 911 reporting
shortness of breath. Transported to hospital
then slipped into coma - 26 Feb 08 (Tuesday)
- Rent due on apartment of individual and hotel
staff entered room called police - Officers find sick/dead animals, weapons, and
anarchist books - ARMOR called but found no hazards

- 28 Feb 08 (Thursday)
- Cousin of sick individual goes to apartment to
claim items - Supposedly finds bag of caster beans and white
powder in several glass vials - Brings to front desk of hotel and tells clerk he
found Ricin in cousins apartment - Patrol and ARMOR respond (Again)
- ARMOR tests powder in glass vile and confirms
protein then Ricin using 20/20 kit, GenPrime
Prime Alert, and Pro Strip 5(BADD Kit) - Swab samples sent to Clark County Health Lab

on decon on the verge of dangerous - Local (Laboratory Response Network) LRN lab is
jealous and wants the ALS to stay home deathly
afraid of 2 different answers - Be prepared for the next day everyone wants to
talk to you - Use your Joint (Operations Center)/(Public
Affairs Officer) JOC/PAO for top cover I got
calls directly from DTRA, (National Guard Bureau)
NGB, NORTHCOM, etc. - No Feds no worries (Utah was a different Animal)
