Nick's New Home     It was a sad day for Rory and
Hannah.  Their family was moving to an apartment
in the city.  There was no room for Nick, their
red Irish setter.  "The city is not place for a
dog like Nick," Dad had said.  "Nick needs to run
and play.  He wouldn't be happy in a tiny
apartment."    Rory and Hannah knew that Dad was
right, but how could they give up Nick?  "Nick
will think we're leaving him behind," Hannah
said.  "He'll be sad and lonely."    "Well, we
are leaving him behind," Rory said glumly.  Just
then their pal Deke rode up on his bike.  Nick
bounded over to Deke to say hello.    "That is a
great dog," Deke said as he rubbed Nick behind
the ears.  "I sure wish I had a dog."    Rory and
Hannah looked at each other and smiled.  "Are you
thinking what I'm thinking?" Hannah asked.
