13Copy and paste
- Press the small x at the top
- Click on your recorded first pattern.
- Hold down control and drag pattern to empty
space. - Right click on mouse and select glue stick
- Click on first pattern and it will join them
together - Do the same for track 2
14Choosing instruments
- Click on Track 1on left hand side
- On further left hand side where it says output
- Choose the top Audigy output
- Click on patch name and a list of instruments
will appear - Choose metallic instrument
- Do the same for track 2

- Create track 3
- This time draw over 8 boxes minims
- Create track 4
- This time draw over 16 boxes Semibreve
- Follow previous instructions for cut and paste.
- Create track 10 clicking on the keyboard to the
left will play range of percussion sounds to help
you choose

- You will now create track 5
- Look at the notes you used for Track 1 and 2
- Combine both parts to create one whole track
- Double each note as semiquavers
- Look below for the example. Red was player 1.

17Rename tracks and colouring
- Double Click on your tracks to the left and name
the instruments according to their role in the
Gamelan - Select recorded track and click on drop down menu

18Arranging your composition
- You can now copy and paste tracks or move them
around the screen to create a longer piece to
build up the layers to create interesting textures
