Putting Newsletters on the Web

• Create your newsletter in Word or Publisher
• Save your newsletter as you normally would
• Print your newsletter to your PDF printer
• Adobe PDF or PDF Creator

Putting Newsletters on the Web

• Name it without spaces
• Print it to your web folder
• Perhaps in a folder called Newsletters
• Make a link from an existing page to your
  newsletter
• Publish your web

Things to Consider about Newsletters

• Always using the same name removes step 6
• Archive newsletters
• How many to save?
• Delete old ones that you no longer link to in
  order to reduce file size on server
• Use a table to list them

Adding Downloadable Files

• Word Documents, Excel Files, etc.
• Save the file to be downloaded into your web
  folder
• Make a hyperlink to it
• Publish your web

.zip Files

• Use .zip files to packages several files together
  for ease of downloading
• Create your .zip file in Windows
• Use CTRL Click to select multiple files, then
  right click on one of them and choose Send To
  Compressed Folder the folder will be named
  the same as one of your files
• Copy your .zip file to your web folder
• Make a hyperlink to it (have instructions to
  right click to download)
• Publish your web
