Peggy's Cove
Peggys Cove is one of the most favorite stops
in Canada. It is a wonderful place to take
pictures. Peggys Cove is also a great place
for whale watching. It is also a very relaxing
place to stay.

Evangeline Trail
The Evangeline Trail starts at Yarmouth Country
and ends at Mt.Uniacke.
During the summer it is perfect time to play
many sports including golf, tennis and swimming.
During the winter you can cross country and
downhill skiing, as well as snowboarding and
snow mobile trails are there.

Cape Breton National Park
Cape Breton is famous for the ocean scenery and
their highlands. One-third of the Cabot Trail
runs through the park. It is the largest
protected area in Nova Scotia. There is a mix of
Northern wildlife and Southern wildlife which
cant be found anywhere else in Canada.
Endangered species of plants and animals can be
found inside the park. A small population of the
arctic alpine plants left over from the last ice
age can still be found.

Kejimkujik National Park
Kejimkujik Park is a great place for campers and
hikers. There is a lot of wildlife. Otters,
minks and beavers can be found by the shores.
Many large mammals can also be found. Moose,
hare, foxes, porcupines, bobcats and black bears
can be found. Harbour seals can be found by the
shores in the summer.

Where is Novva Scotia?
Nova Scotia is located on the south-eastern end
of Canada. Nova Scotia is a peninsula. Nova
Scotia is the second smallest province in Canada
after Prince Edward Island. Halifax is the
capitol of Nova Scotia and has the most
population. It is the seventh most populated
province.

The Capital
Nova Scotias capital, Halifax, has a population
of about 300,000 people. It is one the greatest
ports in the world. Halifax was very important
in both wars. The coordinates of Halifax is
44.30N, 63.30W. The temperature in the summer is
74 degrees Fahrenheit. Every year Halifax gets
over 54 inch. of rain and in the winter Halifax
gets about 90 inch. of snow!
