Hi , my name Andrew the Asian Elephant. My job is
to tell you about three exciting animals !!
My friend, Marilyn has prepared a wonderfully
exciting presentation about animals and their
adaptations and some really fun facts!!!

Thanks Andrew, Im Kate Kangaroo from the
Australian Angels. My family and I are going to
tell you about our relatives.
As you can see, my family has a lot of lounge
time, Ha-Ha!!!
2 million years ago our relatives were 140 pounds
and were 9 feet tall!!!

We should always stay in groups to lounge around.
One swift kick can kill a human.
Young males wrestle with their mothers to prepare
for growing up.
We can hold lots of things in our pouches, even
our Joeys!!!

Next Ill be telling you about my family!!!!
I bet you wear tennis shoes, we do to!!! Our
shoes have padding under our feet, and we walk on
our toes!!!

Some times we go to the circus just to make you
humans laugh. But sometimes we make our selves
laugh. Ha-ha ha!!!
We cant use fly swatters. But our tail has hair,
so we use that to swat flies.

Our trunks have 40,000 muscles so we can pluck a
single flower or a heavy log!!
Mud helps us out. We roll in it, it dries as
armor. We use that armor to keep away biting
bugs!!!
Thats all about my family. Wild Dogs are next
I have to make sure I dont step on them!!!

This song is getting on my nerves!!! Can I stop

We foxes can be very tricky, but our hind legs
help us to reach berries.
Our teeth are used like steel traps. We use them
to trap prey. So it will not escape, half eaten.

If we are hungry we will jump into a seal hole
and kill it, and eat it.
When we are stuck in a blizzard, we cover our
faces with our tails to protect our faces.
Hi, Im an Arctic Fox with my friend Pete the

Big ears on a breed of fox, can help them hear
bugs in their tunnels.
Wolves can travel as far as 35 miles through all
terrain .
There are 35 different species of wild dogs.

Dingos are practically nocturnal!!!
Dingoes are the only wild dogs in Australia.
Another breed of Wild Dogs have really tall legs
to see over tall grass.
Some foxes stand on their hind legs to reach
berries.
