The Great News

• As soon as I came home from school my dad came up
  to my sisters and I. He said if you have the
  choice to go anywhere around the world where
  would you go? We had no idea what to say. My dad
  said well, how about Cozumel I already have the
  tickets! We all yelled like idiots.

The plane

• The plane took off at 600 a.m. So, we had to
  wake up at 330 a.m. As we got to the airport we
  were super sleepy. As the plane took off everyone
  was barfing. 30 minutes in the air the plane was
  turned around and went back to the airport for
  weather conditions. 2 hours later we were off to
  Cozumel.

El Gran Portal Real

• As we landed we went to the hotel. The hotel was
  called El Gran Portal Real. The hotel was five
  stars and all inclusive. That means that you can
  get whatever you want for free.

The stay

• We stayed at Cozumel for a week. During that time
  we got in the pool a whole day, we went to the
  beach all day (they buried me in the sand) ,
  shopped at the little shops, we went to a small
  town that was like a mini forest, and my favorite
  was the banana boat. The banana boat is an
  inflatable canoe with no top. You attach it to a
  jet ski and the guy on the jet ski tries to knock
  you off the banana boat. The only thing you can
  hold on to is a little handle on the banana boat.
  It is really fun.

Goodbye

• The trip was fun but it was time to go back home.
  None of us wanted to go but we had to. We went
  back to the airport we flew to San Antonio and we
  left home. That was the best vacation ever.
