Insulin Dependent Diabetes Mellitus Type 1
This type of diabetes takes place in childhood
or younger age and there is complete lack of
insulin hormone that mandates external
administration of the hormone regularly as
treatment.

• Non insulin dependent diabetes mellitus Type 2
• In type 2 diabetes enough insulin is not produced
  by the body or insulin that is made by the body
  is insufficient to meet the wants of the body.

GESTATIONAL DIABETES

• Occurs in pregnant women who have never had
  diabetes but blood sugar level increases during
  pregnancy.
• There are chances that after childbirth the
  mother can develop type 2 diabetes.
