Hari, a lot of snakes and the Indian Wild Buffalo

• Hari Divekar,an electrical engineer, was busy
  building his business ( mfg of O rings and
  Cylinder Liners).
  
• In 1974 he read a book Tiger in Sight which
  changed his life
  
• This made him join the BNHS
• In the BNHS he organized snake exhibitions on a
  national level
  
• He is today an authority on the Indian Wild
  Buffalo

• He decided to set up a snake park near Mumbai
• He got deeply involved with the tribals of Jawhar
  Taluka
  
• He decided that Urbanites living in Mumbai, Pune
  would one day desperately need nature getaways
  
• He started acquiring lands
• He and his wife Neela developed their first
  property as a family farmhouse in 1982 which was
  converted into a commercial resort in 1990

Enter Chinmay

• Chinmay, passed out of JBIMS in 1996 with
• A masters in Marketing
• A great job in Colgate Palmolive
• He quit the job in 1997 and was dragged into his
  dads business.
  
• After a lot of soul searching, he has settled
  into this business for the long haul

  Sajan and Durshet.
