  • These are some physical features of the northwest
    region.
  • It has the really tall Rocky Mountains.
  • There is a big river that runs under a big
    glacier.

  • Tall cedar trees grow in many places.
  • There are spruce trees and spruce bark.

Climate
  • This is the climate.
  • In winter it is very very cold. In summer it is
    not that warm.

Animals
  • Animals found in the ocean are killer whales,
    sea otters, and crabs.
  • The land animals are deer, rabbits and bear.
  • Eagles and ravens can be found floating in the
    sky.

  • Here are some plants the Tlingits eat roots,
    seaweed, fungus, nuts, berries, acorns and camas
    bulbs.
  • These are some animals the Tlingits eat bear,
    rabbits, and deer.

  • They gathered food from the sea like fish, seals,
    sea otters, walruses, crab and cod.
  • They harpooned seals, sea otters, walruses and
    sea lions.

  • Clan houses are made out of cedar boards or other

  • There were fires in the center and the clan
    shared the fire.
