    of Moose, Caribou, Mule deer and White tailed

Brrr! Its cold where they live!
  • Where do elk live? In the cold climates. They
    are located in the western forests where it is
    large, breezy, and cold. Elk migrate to tall
    mountains mostly in Canada. Elk use there habitat
    to blend into the mountains to stay away from
    there predators. What an elktastic habitat.

Greeny grassy thats what they love!
  • Yum, yum, some tasty food for the elk! Elk love
    to eat all kinds of grasses, shrubs and bark that
    is delicious to them. Elk are herbivores and
    enjoy a healthy diet. Elk have to search for

    babies are called calves. They are born in the
    late May and early June. When they are born they
    are a light brown color. They do not have their
    antlers yet. Male elk or bulls grow their antlers
