    many deadly snakes live in the wetlands like the
    cottonmouth snake it lives in the south U.S. eats
    frogs, salamanders little turtles, and baby
    alligators. Are just some animals that it eats

    are building house on the land and cutting the

What Animals live in the Wetlands!
  • Wood duck It came from the fact that it looks
    like a wooden duck.
  • Canada Goose Its like the one you see in the
    park its found in the southern parts of the U.S.
  • Great Blue Heron they are one of the largest
    birds in the U.S. of A. You can find them on the
    cost of Canada,

Plants found in Wetlands!
  • Yellow Lotus The yellow lotus as seen on the
    right is just one of the many beautiful plants in
    the wetlands. This plant stands up to 10 over
    the water. The top or the head of the flower is
    7!
  • Coontail The cool thing about this plant is that
    it has no roots! It floats on the water its
    found in Virgin Islands and Canada.

Whats the role of Water in wetlands?
  • Water is the very wetland
  • With out water the wetlands would be as dry as my
    moms meat loaf.
  • Since the wetlands are covered with water and
    trees are growing off that water the trees would
    die.

  • Its some times hot in the spring
  • Most of the year its cold and musty
  • Fog and other things fill the air
