COLOR

• Color is the major important factor that decides
  Tanzanite quality. GIA is the only official
  grading system for colored gems and based on
  these grades the Tanzanite quality is measured.
  AAA Tanzanite is the grade used to denote very
  top grade of Tanzanite. Only 1 of all Tanzanite
  is this grade.

CLARITY

• Clarity is the quality that refers to how a
  gemstone is inclusion free. A Tanzanite should be
  at least eye clean but preferably loupeclean too.
  All top Tanzanite stones are loupelean.

CARAT WEIGHT

• Tanzanite exists even in 100 carat weight but
  generally they lie between 1 and 10 carat range.
  Carat weight affects the price since the carat
  weight increases then the stone in the same
  quality will cost more.

CUT

• Tanzanites are found in variety of shapes and
  cutting styles. Ovals cushion, round, emerald
  cuts, trillions are the common shapes available.
  Cuts should be proportional.
