Click the Alphabetic Database List
4Click Classical Music Library
5Click Playlist Folders
6Click the themes folder

7Under one of the folders, click View more
8Click i for complete list of recordings related
to Norton Recorded Anthology of Western Music,
Vol. 1, CD 2
9CML recordings related to Norton RECORDED

Click Play icon to hear composition
10To create a folder of recordings, register by
- Clicking Add to my Playlists or
- Clicking My Playlist or
- Clicking Register
- . . . from many screens
11Registration is free
12After youve registered, click Log in, My
Playlists, or Add to my Playlists when you see
a link
13Click on Create and edit playlists
14Click Create new playlist
15Name your playlist and click Create
16Click the Search tab
17Click Period
18Boo-hoo -- CML has nothing before the Medieval
period
19Cant remember the dates for an historical
period? Click the Reference tab, then
Historical Periods
20Medieval (c500-c1430). Notice the link to CML
Medieval Music.
21Need to rename a playlist? Click on it.
22Click rename
23Now you can type in the box
24Or, on the list of playlists, click DELETE
25Click Edit to add tracks to your playlist
26Conduct a search by period and you will find
485 tracks. Notice the dropdowns to help you
narrow your search by genre, sub-genre, etc.

29Browse to a track you want to add, then click on
the i to add it to your playlist
30On next window, click Add to Playlist
31On next screen, click the link to your playlist
32Click close to continue adding tracks
33Navigate to a track you want to add then click
the i
34On next screen, click Add to Playlist
35On next screen, click on your playlist
36To see your playlist, click Edit
37You can delete a track, add the whole work from
which your track comes, or checkmark tracks to
cut or copy
38You can also copy tracks from a CML Themed
Playlist
39From the Norton playlist, click i to add a
track to your playlist
40Click Add to Playlist
41On next screen, click your playlist
42The track has been added to your playlist
43Cant find it in CML?
- Send me an email with the name of the composition
and composer scarroll_at_tlu.edu
- If I cannot find it in Classical Music Library, I
will ask CML to add it, or, I will seek to locate
a recording and order it for the library
collection
