Nicole the Fairy

Nicole was a fire fairy who lived with her Mum in
the forest. Her Dad had gone missing when Nicole
was 2 and took her elder sister, Sam, with him.
Nicole grew up into a very shy fairy.

Nicole went to Fairy School. They learnt the
rules to being a good fairy and how to fly. At
school, Nicole was picked on by the other fairys
because her Dad had left them. They claimed that
Nicole couldnt do anything right and that she
was different because she could control fire.
Youre stupid! You made you sis and Dad run away
Youre a freak.

Nicole got bullied everyday and her only friend
was a water fairy called Brittany. Then one day,
the King of the Fairies and his daughter came to
visit their village. Everybody was very excited.
The mean fairys were worrying if the Princess
would like them. Brittany and Nicole didnt
worry about meeting the Princess. They were going
to their secret valley.
Do you think she will like my hair? What about my
nails? I SO need a new dress.

But when they got to their secret valley, they
found that there was somebody else was already
there. She was older than they were and she
looked different. Nicole and Brittany became too
shy to go down there. The fairy looked at them
and asked them to come down to play.

They played in the valley all day and had the
best time. At the end of the day, the new fairy
went with Nicole to see her Mum. Brittany came
too. When they got to her house, there was a
carriage out the front of her house. I wonder
whose it is, Nicole wondered.

When they got inside, they all got a surprise.
Nicoles Mum was talking to a man with a crown on
his head, like the one the older fairy was
wearing. After a bit of questioning, they found
out the truth. Nicole was a princess!

After that, Nicole went with her Dad and sister
back to the palace. With Sams help, Nicole
became less shy and more bold. She even told the
mean fairys to go away and leave her alone. They
never bothered her after that. Brittany continued
to be Nicoles friend, even if she was a princess.

Never give up. You can succeed if you try.
